Choose what you hand over.
The planned PDF workflow lets you review a guide and select pages for the people you trust. A caregiver may need practical care contacts; someone helping with the estate may need a different set of information.
Keep an offline copy.
Your downloaded guide is designed to work without signing in. Review it with your chosen person so they know where to find the first contact, important papers and next steps.
Document uploads are a future feature.
A vault for copies of wills and other relevant documents remains part of the longer-term direction. It is not active in this preview or a promised launch capability. Before it opens, storage, access controls, recovery, file handling and privacy arrangements need to be implemented and tested.
Sharing information is different from giving authority.
A family member may need practical help during an illness, as memory or decision-making changes, or after a loss. Access to information does not itself authorize medical, legal or financial decisions. The relevant documents, professionals and institutions still determine what someone may do.
There is no automatic unlock based on inactivity, a diagnosis or a relative’s request. Future online family access and any later access-request process need their own permissions and checks.
A clear privacy commitment.
The full guided service will receive and store answers to generate and update the guide. It is being designed for encrypted storage, limited collection, clear retention and deletion on request. We do not currently claim HIPAA compliance or a security certification.
We will never ask for passwords, PINs or full account numbers. Please do not send real family records through this website.
